Map Drawings

These densely packed drawings represent a re-imagination of place, encompassing both local and international locations. Using Google Maps and printed road maps, students delved into a cartographic experience of the geography surrounding meaningful places, including their homes, while reflecting on the memories associated with significant features and landmarks. Their use of line defines abstract and literal elements, adding to the personalized perspective that has helped shape these works.
