Portrait Painting
Painting a portrait involves a greater understanding of form as it pertains to facial features. One of the greatest challenges is in achieving the likeness of the subject. There are multiple methods for working through these challenges and any attempt to do so will require practice mixing colors and applying paint. These works are wonderful examples of learning on the go, being intentional with the use of materials, and persevering through many stages of the painting process.
